VR Products Built with Industry Experts to Improve
Familiarization and Training

Aviation is a core focus for us at Xennial. We partner with Part 147 schools, MROs, and airlines to design and implement VR and AR training solutions aligned with FAA Airman Certification Standards. Our mission is to deliver the highest-fidelity tools to effectively train and empower skilled aircraft technicians.

A Few of Our Products

Introduction to Aviation

4 Modules

Students explore aviation careers and the iconic Cessna 172 at their own pace. Modules include aircraft familiarization, a general visual inspection, and a pre-flight check.  Students see an overview of diverse aviation career paths—from military pilot roles to maintenance positions at smaller Fixed Base Operators (FBOs).

Aircraft Towing Simulator

3 Modules

The VR Aircraft Towing Simulator teaches students to tow a Citation XLS in three scenarios: for departure, offline for departure, and into a hangar for maintenance. It includes aircraft and tow vehicle selection, a towing checklist, and visual indicators to aid knowledge retention.

Engine Familiarization: Pratt & Whitney PT6 & Lycoming O-320

3 Modules

The Engine Familiarization applications allow students to explore two engine types in detail—examining components, fuel flow, and gauge operations, including a simulated engine run-up.
This immersive experience offers valuable insight into engine system functions and the implications of potential failures.

King Air C-90: Familiarization & General Visual Inspection

2 Modules

The King Air C-90 training modules provide students with hands-on experience aligned to FAA Airman Certification Standards (ACS). Familiarization introduces key systems, components, and aircraft layout, while the GVI module guides students through a realistic walkaround, reinforcing inspection procedures and visual identification of potential discrepancies.

Embraer ERJ-145: Familiarization

1 Module

The Embraer ERJ-145 Familiarization module gives students structured exposure to regional jet systems and layout, including airframe, cockpit and cabin systems . Learners explore foundational knowledge at their own pace in a hands on manner.

Airbus 323: Avionics Troubleshooting

1 Module

The 737 Avionics Troubleshooting module gives students hands-on practice diagnosing and resolving cockpit avionics faults. Starting with a fault light indication, learners investigate the avionics cabinet, interpret system feedback, and make adjustments until the issue is resolved—building critical skills in systems thinking and real-world troubleshooting.
