We're grateful to our collaborators at the University of Massachusetts Amherst Vet Tech Program, for partnering with us to build a new product to train hashtagVeterinary Technicians on the proper procedures and skills to perform hashtagvenipuncture on cats and dogs. The Virtual Reality Veterinary Technician Simulation Training Program, is the perfect example of how we continue to push the boundaries of hashtagXR, in an area where immersive learning is the ideal tool to practice and learn hashtagVenipuncture procedures.
Our new product offers key benefits, such as:
- Hyper realistic, hands-on experience for Vet Tech students to learn how to draw blood from cats and dogs without the need for live animals
- Enabling Vet Techs to practice techniques in a risk-free setting
- Learning the proper procedures to handle syringes, finding veins, restraining animals, while enabling students to gain confidence and precision before working on actual animals
Another great benefit of using hashtagVR in this scenarios, is that we can align with the industry's commitment to animal welfare, while helping foster empathy by emphasizing animal-centric care during training.
